With the 13 days of school left, I hope to keep my grades in the A's and B's. If they aren't at least a B-, I need to work harder to raise them.

Storyboarding and Videotaping

1. Establishing shot-  In film, a camera shot that establishes a scene, often as a long shot. This is a common maneuver at the beginning of Hollywood films, especially if the setting plays a significant role.


2. Reverse shot- a shot that views the action from the opposite side of the previous shot, as during a conversation between two actors,giving the effect of looking from one actor to the other.


3. Extreme Close-Up- A picture taken at extremely close range; for example, an extreme close-up of a face might show only an eye. 


4. Over the Shoulder Shot- View of the primary subject with the back of another person's shoulder and head in the foreground. Often used in interview situations.


5. Action Shot- showing someone or something in motion.

If I were to create a music video, what song would I choose and why? What would some of the video shots be for the music video? The song I would choose would be R.E.M.'s - It's The End Of The World. Since I have a blog about Ipads, it would show the destruction of the world because Apple would finally allow Adobe Flash player on it's mobile products like the Ipad, Iphone, and the Ipod Touch. It's mainly because Steve Jobs would never allow Flash player on his products

 Some classes I don't like to answer because I feel like I would be made an example. Some classes, the teacher makes me feel like I am not very smart even though the class is an advanced class. I'm am rarely ever praised if ever. I really don't enjoy some assignments because they are time fillers or are way too easy.I prefer work on the computer or Ipad if I had one. 

The New Part of the iBooks App. You can now get a limited selection of Textbooks from Pearson, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and McGrawHill. Here is a link to the iBook page iBook Link. It would be useful if schools could get Ipads at a discounted rate when purchased in bulk by a school. I would like this so I wouldn't have to carry home my entire locker. Also the school wouldn't have to spend thousands of dollars on textbooks because the iBooks textbooks can be purchased in bulk at discounted rates for schools. Or you can get a book for $15 or so.

I am against S.O.P.A I really didn't care about the Wikipedia blackout because I have an Ipod Touch and I have the Wikipedia Mobile app. The blackout didn't affect the mobile much. It only had a little banner about S.O.P.A. Also on my PC, I would just hit the little X to stop the page from loading completely. I will now be getting off my S.O.P.A. box now.

Now I am back in school. this is week 2 of the third nine weeks. Here's what I hope to accomplish: Pass the 11th grade and get an Ipad 2.
